Senate stays Republican.

Agreed, it's a good bet. How is the House race? I have a big preference for the House and was more worried about that. Think they have more interest in voting for their constituents. God forgive me and Jim ban me but I really don't care if we lose the Senate, more worried about the House. Must keep the House!

Bless you "Kay Ludlow",

I realize that the night is young. I also realize that Lord will continue to use Rick Santorum regardless of the final outcome of this race.

I'm so grateful for you encouragement!

The Senate is more important. Without it there won't be any good judges appointed.

The results of that tell me that people are complete and utter idiots. Every voter ought to have to take an economics class, before voting.

I think ultimately one of the highest powers in the nation are the judges. President appoints, Senate approves? No House involvement?? If that's right, you got me.

I still think the Senate sucks and is corrupt. :)

Anyone catch Santorum's concession on MSNBC. Seriously...I need one of you to tell me I did not hear Chris Matthews say what I though he said about Santorum's small daughter crying on the podium.

What I thought I heard was Matthews commenting on her crying and then adding for viewers to think about all the small children crying who's parents were lost in Iraq. He then ended his comment by stating "This election is about a war...don't forget it."

Someone had to be watching, even if it was Matthews. Please tell me I didn't hear that.

I was wondering the same thing, especially, since I've heard that some areas count the absentees LAST. Used to be a lot of those went Pubbie.

Looks like none of the House seats in Texas will switch either way except for TX-22 (Delay) and it in all liklihood is going Rat.
