Dems currently hold the Treasurer's office and Superintendent of Education but that will change after tonight.
Rats
Looks like Campbell county is providing most of the votes so far. In 2004 Bush took 69% of the vote, now Allen is taking 65%. For what its worth, if Allen is 4% off statewide from Bush in 04, thats right at 50%.

We knew this wasn't going to be easy, and we're no where near done.
Thanks for that information, Starwise.

WTH, is CNN's site or VA's site accurate? Numbers are almost opposite...

Suburban Richmond, where I live. I have trouble believing Henrico is going to go heavily Webb, but it might happen. This is a really schizophrenic county; out here west of Richmond is fairly affluent and growing like crazy (and packed with non-voting contract workers from India), but north and east is a little poorer and much more black.

One of our crew bases is in Richmond as well as Maintenance. Lot of Union Dems..
????? I just saw the opposite...which is true?
I can't get into the state website to get details on what Henrico's reporting and what precincts have shown up so far. It's running 53-46 Webb with 5 of 93 reporting.

Yep, I bet the server is pretty overwhelmed right about now.
Server seems to have melted down...
"Reports from friends at both CBS and ABC say unprecedented huge turnouts in many Republican strongholds, many exceeding 2004.
This unconfirmed, but believed"
I will confirm through limited anecdotal evidence. I live in a red precinct, although I am a Democrat.
According to the poll workers, there was a line when the polls opened at 6:00 am. Very unusual for my precinct. I voted about 20-30 minutes later, and there was a line.
Heavy turnout today.
