So....when did it become the responsibility for the government to train docile workers?
What is the mission of the government schools? Is it creating obedient workers who will bow to dumb bosses?
True education in our homeschool, which included character development, trained up children who would quit a job with a dumb boss, find another job, or start their own business.
Now, of the two, which is better for America?

Calling a kid "a brat" because he simply chose not to answer a question on a test, could be construed as "creating a stupid problem for yourself".
In fact, considering that a money-grubbing control-freak principal has now been exposed, I'd call the kid "crazy like a fox".
