Quote surprised to receive a phone call last hour with a recorded message from Rush. Those of you that have listened to his show know he does not typically do direct call to action stuff. In the past he has only done so when Democrats have falsely claimed he told his listeners to do something, such as call Congress, and so he does it to show what it would be like had he actually done it. So I was very surprised to get a call of him.
The call was encouragement to go to the polls and "support the team" and vote for Republican candidates tomorrow. He cited judge appointments, taxes, Democrat liberal agenda among other things as reasons to go to the polls tomorrow.
Rush is the man. Lay off.

Hey, I think this is true. Rush had a caller today, some lady from somewhere in the mid-west, who had gotten one of these calls. He did not dispute her.

I got such a call today at about 1:00
I came home from work, and my phone rang. It was a canned message about the election. Guess who was making this canned statement? Bubba Bill "I didn't have sex with that woman, Monica what's-her-face" Klintoon. Ruined my whole evening. I had to disinfect all my phones because I was sure all of them became contaminated(stained) by his voice.
Why should he be zotted? Just because he's a newbie?
His report is true. I got a recorded call from Rush on my answering machine this evening when I got home.
Evidently the party prevailed upon him to record a 'get out the vote' message.
I also had a recorded call from Senator McCain urging a vote for the GOP and depricating the Democrats on taxes and national security.
It may only be those of us in Congressional districts or states where the incumbent is facing a tough (or tougher than expected) challenge.
I already did my part for Jim Ryun with advance voting. I hope the messages have the desired effect.
Incidentally, SnakeIz, welcome to FR.
First post, no souce. It is definitely worth questioning.
It doesn't matter how good we can spell, we are stuck with Kerry until Mass. voters give him the boot along with that other derelict coward, Kennedy.
If that's the case, I'll have to recall my ZOT, as it may have been premature.

We got a call from Rush yesterday, I didn't believe it when my husband told me, but it was there on our voice mail.
Darn - I wish I could have heard one of Rush's pitches...was probably pretty good. :-)
