Limbaugh recorded calls for GOP

Quote surprised to receive a phone call last hour with a recorded message from Rush. Those of you that have listened to his show know he does not typically do direct call to action stuff. In the past he has only done so when Democrats have falsely claimed he told his listeners to do something, such as call Congress, and so he does it to show what it would be like had he actually done it. So I was very surprised to get a call of him.

The call was encouragement to go to the polls and "support the team" and vote for Republican candidates tomorrow. He cited judge appointments, taxes, Democrat liberal agenda among other things as reasons to go to the polls tomorrow.

Yes I also got one from Newt. Been hit hard here with the phone calls around here. On Saturday I think I received no less than 7 or 8 calls from different parties, organizations, candidates and others. Had messages from the President and McCain. I wish I'd have been away so they'd be on my answering machine.

A friend told me he got one from Ben Stein. Anyone else get a message from him? I wanted his too. ;)

Awesome! I heard that the Dems have celebrities stumping for them. Nice to know that we have Rush doing the same. Sure wish I'd get one of his calls. :)

He was "above" going along with all the second-tier radio hosts when they were lured to the White House. He knew he could have Bush and Cheney come to him...which they did.

The recorded calls (which I hate) are beneath him.

I got one a few days ago from Ahhhnold. As soon as I realized what it was I slammed the phone with a grunt. My seven year old asked me who was on the phone...I told him it was Arnold Schwarzeneggar.

His eyes got big, his jaw dropped, and he said: "...and you hung up on him?!?!?"

It's on my voice mail - but I don't even know what an MP3 is - sorry, I'm technologically illiterate.

Are there any kids in your vicinity....anybody under the age of 19 would surely know how to do it   :-)  If not, I'm sure that someone else will be able to help.  Rushbo wouldn't do something like this for a small market, and with the hundreds of thousands of FReepers, somebody is very likely going to be able to do this.  Thank you very much for your reply and kind sentiments, however.

I don't know if this is a troll or not - but yes, I can confirm that I got a recording yesterday from Rush Limbaugh.

At this point the consensus appears to be that the information is legitimate, as verified by several other FReepers as well as yourself.

Please don't worry about being a non-techie....the mere fact that you are here at FR illustrates that you have many other excellent qualities.
