Barring a cataclysmic event, Minnesotans tomorrow will elect the first-ever Muslim to the U.S. Congress, and odds are the media serenade wont be far behind.
What remains to be seen, though, is how many journalists will be willing to strike a discordant note by questioning Keith Ellison on his Nation of Islam past or his open embrace of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group founded by two self-identified supporters of Islamic terrorism.

You should add the new London mosque to this slide show.
This only shows the flaw in our democratic system when even the enemy (Muslim) can win a congressional seat.
Last week, military brass -- along with representatives from the terror-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations -- dedicated the first Muslim prayer center for the Marines as a symbol of the military's "religious tolerance" and "respect" for the faith the enemy uses to attack us.

I think the British might disagree with you on that one.
The terrorists we are fighting right now are Muslims. That does not make every Muslim a terrorist.
It isn't his religion that ought to disqualify him from office, but his policies. His political views would be no less damaging to the country were he a Christian, a Jew or a Zoroastrian.
My point exactly. Policies, not religion.
