The Browns was my team too.
There were billboards in cleveland for years after he snuck the team out that touted public death threats should Modell ever show up in cleveland.
It was pretty ugly

LT is a fabulous player. One of the VERY best. And like you said, he never has acted like he is full of himself, say like Terrell(Sir Drop a ball a lot)Owens.
He needs to play his entire career in San Diego, he'll do his best to make sure that happens, I think.

Would Lieberman break a tie in favor of the Democrats after the way he was treated this year?
Pat Buchanan also predicted that he would one day be President. Pat Buchanan says a lot of things that don't pan out.

Hm. I saw someone say he has his favorite lines.. sometimes Drudge runs clips, like in the "bit radio" style. If you hear Hillary saying "I loved Arkansas," it's another way for Drudge to say "oh yeah, right, you lying sack." She said it years ago.
As far as replaying callers, I don't think so, but I could be wrong. I'm listening via air on KFI-Los Angeles. I'm told their stream is pretty good.

If the GOP do well, it'll go like this:
1. Dirty tricks by GOP
2. Poll fraud
3. Racism
4. Broken voting machines
5. the Evil Karl Rove
6. GOP fat cat donors gave more money
7. Undefined voter fraud
8. Undefined voter discrimination
9. Blatant GOP lies
10. Oh yeah, ummmm what John Kerry said
Get the picture?

Would Lieberman break a tie in favor of the Democrats after the way he was treated this year?Positively, once they kiss his ring. He always said he would caucus with the dems if he won. Connecticut voters should remember that when voting for good ole Joe.

Hi lainie and All. Wow what a night! Close PatsvColts game and so much happening to get out the vote. I am so torn because I am in CT and have to face the decision of Lieberman v Schlesinger. Folks I just can't figure it out, I always voted R all the way but people are saying Schlesinger could not win so I should go Lieberman. Yikes.

Right after he was captured, I pronounced my sentence preference for him: hanging, with a twist...
Give him a solitary confinement cell in earshot of the prison's center courtyard, so he can hear the Corps of Engineers' carpenters building his gallows.
Ideally, those men will use only (slow) hand tools, and a guard will say to Saddam daily "Hear that, maximum leader? That's the sound of American carpenters. They're building you a fiiiine gallows."

Hello,
You make some really good points, and we will never know what "could have, would have" been.
I don't spend each day beating myself up for it (although during the Clinton years, I thought about it more, LOL!) I did learn that you choose the best you possibly can during the primary.
Glad to be here, MOgirl

It was absolutely brutal back then. The worst thing of all was timing the announcement just DAYS after the Tribe lost to the Braves in the World Series. If I remember correctly, this all came down exactly 11 years ago today, 11/5/95.

Not counting Garfield who died in short order, Millard Fillmore was the last president to issue so few vetoes and he issued zero. He only served out Taylor's term though.
For two-term presidents, you have to go back to James Monroe (5th, 1817-1825) who issued only one veto. Thomas Jefferson did not issue any vetoes so it's not an all-time record but in modern times, W's veto record is unprecedented.
