I'll do that, proud_yank. Yes, our son led his team into Iraq at the start of the war. They followed the I.D. I remember his last call to us right before the start of theh war. He just told us he wouldn't be able to contact us for awhile. We didn't know exactly what that meant, but then when President Bush came on the t.v. announcing the beginnning of the war, I knew in my heart.... He was a Sgt. in the Signal Corp. He signed up for 8 years, and as of this past July, he is a civilian. He keeps tabs on his battle buddies in Iraq, and elsewhere, and is involved with other organizations that help our war veterans.
Nice to see you. Pray for our troops and justice for Saddam.
Prayers up and thank you!
Someone I know was in the Marines, right as they entered Baghdad. A good friend of mine knew him well, and based on the stories he told I can't imagine myself in that situation.
I am very thankful they are there for us, and I keep them in my prayers.
