Sounds like the Drive Bys are in full panic mode... all their work on behalf of the Democrats may get flushed down the toilet on Tuesday. If the Democrats are going to win big, why is Tom Friedman sounding bothered?

I once heard somebody at my church say that he thought Tom Friedman was a fair and balanced type of guy. All that comment did for me was tell me a lot about the guy making it, and I lost all respect for him.
I am a bibliophile, yet Thomas Friedman is the only author whose book I actually threw in the trash rather than donate to someone. I couldn't get through it.

"Karl Rove is. He is not a man who has designed a strategy to reunite our country around an agenda of renewal for the 21st century -- to bring out the best in us." That's right! Karl Rove does not throw Kumbaya Parties. He wins elections. You are one jealous Mo'Fo' ain't ya!

Wow. Unlike the other inhabitants of the OpEd page, Friedman usually pretends to be reasonable. Not that he is, but he pretends to be.
Looks like he's really lost it.
Hey, Friedman, What happened to all those nice, reasonable Arabs you predicted would be joining the modern, civilized world, in The Lexus and the Olive Tree?
Do you see any signs of New York Times type civilization spreading through the Middle East yet? Maybe signs of the Upper East Side in Lebanon? Or Westchester in Egypt? Are the Saudis becoming pleasant and rational to their Christian and Jewish guests?
