You are absolutely right Appy. Both the KJV and NASB (which I consider the gold standard of bible translations) translate it as "servant"

Homosexuality is irreconcilable with Christianity, unless the homosexual repents of his or her sins. That's it. There are the Rosie O'McDondals lesbians who HATE Christianity for that fact and then there are lesbians like this 'bishop' who will try to change the meaning of Christian. It would be like having an unrepentant shoplifter for a Bishop who sees nothing wrong with stealing, trying to say the Bible does not condemn stealing.
