These creeps keep calling me to renew the subscription I got in 2001 when I first moved here and didn't know any better. PLEASE Lord, let 'em call again, please... I've been too polite so far. I'm ready to go medieval on somebody.

If you're on the Federal Do Not Call list, I understand that it's something like a $5,000.00 fine for businesses to call people on that list.  I believe that the entities exempted from this are political organizations and people whom you have had a business relationship with, but I'm wondering if the case can be made that since you discontinued your subscription some time ago and have repeatedly told them that you are not interested in their product, that their continued, unwanted sales calls constitute a violation of the Do Not Call List?

It sure would be nice for a few thousand people to each stick the P.I. with a $5,000.00 Federal fine.

Good idea. I know they can call if you have a relationship w/them, but I haven't had a subscription with them for a good 4 years. I don't see any relationship now.
