UPDATE: Reader David Ward writes:
Thank you for your great work and especially the coverage of the picture of the soldiers mocking "Jon Carry."
My daughter is on the far right in the picture. We spoke to her last night and again this morning. They are quite astounded at the coverage. They were furious at Kerry's remarks and wanted to do something. I guess they did.
Yours truly,
David Ward
Okay.
You're a cab.
;-)
I've gotten it twice in emails...
She is a doll.
I was hoping we could find a way to communicate our thanks to the troops in the photo. Maybe we could send them a goody package or get Rush to give them a subscription to 24/7.....anything to show our appreciation.
I hope they bring that sign back from Iraq, and trot it aroudn Mass when Kerry runs for reelection in 2008
True, see seems very cute.
And most likely not a neurotic liberal as so many around here where i live and work. (harvard)
I'm the one 'stuck'.
We should learn the names of all of these soldiers (if it doesn't put them at risk).
NYPost, Drudge Report, FOX News Channel, and of course FREEREPUBLIC.COM!
It was here before it got to any of those places. It was on wtmj.com first, then posted here, then it took off accross the world.
I hope that those who see it in other parts of the world understand the context and don't mistake it for a plea to get out of Iraq. If you look at that photo ignoring what you know about Kerry, and you weren't very good with English, you might make that mistake.
ROFL! Ketchup Boy will have to run under the name of Jon Carry in 2008 to get any name recognition!
Smart, funny, and pretty, too!
Our kids in the service are the cream of the crop!
Didn't John Ziegler, a talk show host here in LA (KFI), hear it and put it on his show that night? I was on that first thread Monday night. Then I saw him on FoxNews this am. He also has an explanation on his website about how this Kerry krap started.

They are fine, indeed!
the banner was a response to the show ziegler had
This is the most important lesson he could give his students about being an American.
Reminds me of Joshua Chamberlain, whose picture I have on the cubicle wall right behind this screen as I write, charging up Marye's Heights at Fredericksburg, where he and his buddies spent a very bad night in 1862. He was there because he had faced the exact same question.
And I should point out that I am a Southerner whose ancestors were probably among those on top of that hill shooting at him.
Unfortunately, If Democrats win, I am SURE all of these folks will see article 15's, and the end of thier carreers...
Democrats are hate-filled, vengeful folks....
I love this!
