This guy is only demonstrating his complete lack of understanding of exactly how lethal the American military can be. Once you understand that, you understand exactly how much restraint they are showing.
There is a reason Americans don't like war. It's because we are so very, very good at it.

You're right. Since the "bad guys" are not a governments Geneva rules should not apply. We could then win faster and get out. Tank and ground units should be issued flame throwers. Much less danger for our guys in house to house or IED operations.

I was hoping that after he "exposed" the JFK letters concerning paying Marilyn Monroe hush money to keep their affair secret, he would have been so discredited we wouldn't have him inflicted on us anymore.
The Left is never discredited. Everything is forgiven if you actively hate your country.

That puts the Pulitzer right up there with the Nobel on the worthless piece of paper scale.
Don't forget the now worthless Peabody Award last awarded to Dan "the documents are false but the story is true.." Rather.

Hersh, a Pulitzer-prize winning journalistAs was Walter Duranty, New York Times Moscow correspondent and apologist for Stalin. In several articles, Duranty denied that there was a Ukranian famine while secretly admitting that millions had died. To this day, he is revered by The New York Times.
Sometimes, Pulitzers--like Nobels (see Carter, Jimmy)--are not quite as deserved as some would have you believe.

You forgot part of the speech. Hersh went on to say:
"They told stories that at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of Iraq in addition to the normal ravage of war and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country."

First and foremost, this guy has NEVER been in Iraq! Second, he does not want to see just how violent we could get if needed! And, finally, has anyone seen a war that was NOT violent?
This is typical of a hard left liberal with way too much time on his hands! He needs to come to Iraq and observe his friends the terrorist round up abut 40 Iraqis and line them up and murder them! Of course in his warped mind, it is Americas fault!
America, please see this for what it is, this guy is showing you just exactly who the liberals are, and what they think of us here in the military! Kerry did the same thing, and has expressed his hate for the military for more than 30 years, and this time he was caught.
Please vote to support your local Republican, you may not like everything he or she has done, but, look at the alternative, we here in the military, need the support of Republicans because they are true and honest in their support for This Nation and the military.
Americans must set aside their personal differences and hold your nose if necessary and please vote for your local Republican. I can tell you that everyone of my wounded fellow Soldiers here in this hospital will love each and everyone of you for that support!
God bless each and every American, we do this for you, all we ask is for your support, so that we can continue to do our job, and that my fellow brothers in arms will not have fallen in vain!

Between the seditious son of a whore John Kerry, and the odious, loathsome Hersh, I really think all due consideration should be given to reviving an early American tradition which involves a bucket of tar and a bag of feathers.

"Violence" and "Murder" sounds like a description of the 9/11 events in the US. Isn't he a little confused??

Hersh has written books that tell of Henry Kissinger's secret bombing of Cambodia, John Kennedy's wild and reckless White House, Israel's behind-the-scenes attempts to get nuclear weapons and General Barry McCaffrey's behavior during the Gulf War. (According to an article written by Seymour Hersh published in 2000 The New Yorker, General McCaffrey committed war crimes during the Gulf War by having troops under his command kill retreating Iraqis after a ceasefire had been declared.) Held in high esteem by many, he is also considered by some to be an unreliable rogue. In 2001 he came under fire by the Pentagon (again) for reporting on military actions in Afghanistan; in 2004 he reported in The New Yorker that Iraqi prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib jail in Baghdad, which focused initially on low-ranking U.S. soldiers (including Lynndie England), could be traced to orders by Donald Rumsfeld -- orders President George W. Bush had been informed of ahead of time.
This jackass also has recently published what he claims to be war plans for an attack on Iran, involving our use of nukes.

There has never been an armed force in the history of the planet and human race that has so unselfishly and bravely fought for the freedom and justice of others than the USARMY, USAF, USN, USMC, and USCG. Do the math.
