Agents At O'Hare Reported 131 Missing Badges"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "CHICAGO -- A Unit 5 investigation has prompted new questions about airport security, as NBC5 discovered that O'Hare Airport tops the list of airports with missing security badges and uniforms.

Unit 5's Phil Rogers reported on Monday that he requested documents through the Freedom of Information Act detailing the number of lost badges and uniforms from the Transportation Security Administration.

According to the agency's records from 2005-2006, TSA employees at airports throughout the nation have lost 1,183 badges and nearly 1,000 government-issued uniforms. In Chicago, TSA agents reported 131 missing badges and 11 missing uniforms, Rogers reported -- No. 1 among all U.S. airports.
