6 Immigration Arrests at Atlanta Airport (11/29/06)

ATLANTA (AP) -- Federal authorities said Wednesday they arrested six illegal immigrants who had security badges that gave them access to the tarmac and other restricted areas at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested the men, all Mexicans employed by T.C. Drywall Inc., as they reported to work at the airport Wednesday, agency spokesman Marc Raimondi said....
This and similar incidents are occuring with alarming frequency.
6 illegal immigrants.

PRESS RELEASE SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON, DC. - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) special agents this morning arrested six illegal aliens who possessed security badges allowing them access to restricted areas within the airport and onto the tarmac.
The illegal aliens were working for T.C. Drywall, Inc., based in Alpharetta, GA.
The aliens were arrested after they were determined to be illegally residing and working in the United States. The arrested men are all citizens of Mexico."
