WASHINGTON, Oct. 31, 2006 If you're single and in your 20s, the federal government wants you to steer clear of sex.
That's the new guidance for states under the Department of Health and Human Services' $50 million Abstinence Education Program....
"Whatever happened to conservatives that were against big government," Wagoner asks. "If this isn't a waste of taxpayer dollars, what is?"

So the govt is promoting a healthy lifestyle--is that a bad thing??? It depends on the meaning of the word "healthy".... to you.
Your judgment of whether a policy is good or bad makes the difference.
Look at China's one-child policy. It intrudes on people's freedom while proclaiming to be "for the common good".
What do you think? Society or the individual decides?

I got no problemo with govt promoting no sex before marriage. it's smart and healthy and something I wish i had done.
And promoting no sex is vastly different from promoting one child and abortion.
Anyhoo--goodnight and Vote Tuesday--Let's kick some liberal ass!!!

Well when I picked that name FR was a kinder gentler place and any questionable words (2001)were policed by the word police. So he$$ is hell.

Well when I picked that name FR was a kinder gentler place Oh, OK.
I was thinking it might have to do with Hess, the nazi.
Now I see it is indicative of playground spelling of "bad words".

Touche...
But then I never said that they were faultless. Our job as libertarians is to convince them that they are wrong in these instances.

Why? That is not the decision of you or the government. What is this a chapter out of George Orwell's 1984?
To: RedStateRocker
If the DNC ever gets the heavy hand again the anti-sex league will be in full power. Party members will be exempt.

Who said it was a decision for me or for the government? I just said they shouldn't be doing it.
