With the media machine of the political right attacking him over his remark about Americans "stuck in Iraq," and President Bush calling it "shameful," Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., on Tuesday reacted with fury and defiance.
"I'm not going to sit around and let these guys create a phony controversy," said the Democrats' 2004 presidential nominee, faulted for not firing back while the Swift Boat controversy burned his candidacy.
Kerry was in Seattle to do a fundraiser for Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., and afterward he sat down for a lengthy interview. The words that tumbled out of him were not the apology demanded by Bush.

can you IMAGINE if he had been elected? OMG, he is so darn stupid to have gotten himself in this fix by flapping his yap and can't seem to do the right thing to extricate himself. just imagine him in a diplomatic situation! good grief.

Kerry can find some support for his indefensible remarks in Seattle but there is a lot of country between the elitist outposts of Boston and Seattle in which will give Kerry no relief.
Why would we bother? You do such a great job of torpedoing your own campaigns and routinely self-destruct. We'll just sit back and watch the sneak previews today and roll credits on November 8th.

if it would be the least bit fitting . . . and it appears that it would from my finite perspective . . .

Failling that . . . how about him just continuing to spew such nonsense that he makes an utter and terminal fool of his public life. Let every person in Mass. see what an utter vacuum head they have representing them. Let them wretch and gag at the mention of his name. Let them heave and vomit at his picture.
