The point is:
Kerry either demeaned the troops OR he demeaned a sitting president in time of war.
Either way, his statement was insulting to Americans.

Tony: I'm not trying to be hateful to John Kerry...I've talked to John Kerry on Fox News Sunday, this is not hard. We will call Republicans names. We didn't tell Kerry to call Imus... don't know how much simpler this can be. Bret Baier: What do you think it means for GOP candidates? Tony: I'm trying to get people to focus on substantive issue. The Dems are not telling you what the plans are...I don't know what impact this will be. I will leave this to pollsters.
