Kerry And Snow Get Into Heated Argument Over Troops

Washington D.C. (AHN) - John Kerry and the White House entered into a heated argument through the media recently after Kerry made a comment about those off the academia track getting "stuck in Iraq."

White House Press Secretary Tony Snow said Kerry owes an apology to those serving in Iraq and their families.

He said, "As for the notion that you can say this sort of thing about the troops and say you support them, it's interesting."

Kerry fired back, "I apologize to no one for my criticism of the president and of his broken policy. I'm not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium."

The decorated Vietnam War veteran added, "This is the classic GOP playbook. I'm sick and tired of a bunch of despicable Republicans who will not debate real policy, who won't take responsibility for their own mistakes, standing up and trying to make other people the butt of those mistakes. It disgusts me that a bunch of these Republican hacks who've never worn the uniform of our country are willing to lie about those who did."

Kerry made the original comment on Monday during a campaign event at Pasadena City College for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides. He also joked that President George Bush used to live in Texas but now "lives in a state of denial."

Bush said Kerry's comments were insulting and shameful during a campaign event in Georgia.

I had not seen that picture before.
Had I been at that Wendy's at that time, I doubt that I would be a free man today.

Anyone who knows me knows I have a real problem with the "finger in the face" stuff. Liberals know this too, having suffered their hands knocked away from their bodies right quick.

This is the Index Finger Pointing Dems' taunt. When they aren't using their Middle Finger Digit to Salute America. Their digits are as wayward as former President Bill Clinton's nether part, and Evo Morales' cocoa leaf, and various Islamofascism finger/fist.

Ever notice the hand gestures of Republicans? Open, inviting, prayerful, at work.

I used to think that Kerry was arrogant, but I've since come to the conclusion that he's just very, very stupid.

Actually, you were right before and right again. He's both arrogant AND stupid! The two run together.

I'm not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium.

Actually, that mouthpiece is standing behind a lectern, but I'm sure your educated self knew that.

"I apologize to no one for my criticism of the president and of his broken policy."

Fine..don't apologize to the President..he doesn't need a fake apology from you. Actually, he'd probably appreciate it if you'd keep your snide remarks and insult about HIM, and not about our TROOPS! idiot

Kerry further explained that it was meant as a reference to Bush

The lefties are saying the joke was; "Education, blah, blah, you can do really well in America. But if you don't do your homework like Bush, you get stuck in Iraq."

He may well have intended to say that, but IMO, he said exactly what he felt.

I sincerely believe we just saw the end of John Kerry's political career.

Not only is Kerry arrogant, he's also the worst liar I have ever heard.

No, he's a typical skeeve lawyer, caught on tape lying and yet trying to convince the American public that we didn't hear right what he said. Then when that didn't wash, he says he meant something else. Then to add insult to injury he refuses to apologize for it. He's all but saying, now you're stupid. He really believes he's right.

Wonder how many times the MSM covered up for him when he was running for President. He just comes across as an arrogant, bitter, nasty, sore loser of a politician.

We need to make it a law that if you hold one politicial office to run for another, you need to resign that seat. It should not be voluntary.

No politician should be on the ballot for both. Either that or term limits need to be passed. People like Kerry and Kennedy are poster boys for term limits.

The Republicans need to court Carla Howell and boot Kerry out.

Keep dreaming! He's the junior Senator from Massachusetts. You can murder people and still get elected as Senator for Life in that state.
