The keepers of the IREY/Murtha ping list, in order to keep as many of our fellow freepers informed as possible, are proud to announce the kickoff of DIANA IREY COUNTDOWN TO VICTORY #II-DAILY NEWS.
Here you will continue to find the reason of the day why Jack Murtha refuses to debate Diana Irey provided by Diana's own website!
In addition, we have added many new features as the Countdown has evolved.
Look for the IREY FUNNIES, IREY DIARY, great pictures and graphics and so much more!
We have had wonderful support and interest in the original DIANA IREY COUNTDOWN TO VICTORY THREAD and we encourage all to visit it if you missed it the first time around.
Also, please stop by daily to our new thread to cheer Diana on and enjoy the fun with your fellow freepers!
We all have to find ways to do more.
Uh huh!
Allegheny -- not the most heavily D part of county
Armstrong -- yes but voted for Bush
Cambria -- no
Fayette -- yes
Greene -- yes (whole county is in district 12 so it's the most heavily D part) -- voted for Bush though.
Indiana -- yes but voted for Bush
Somerset -- yes but voted for Bush
Washington -- yes
Westmoreland -- yes
Most of the polls are done on weekends and/or include weekends...
Guess who isn't home much on weekends? Christians, families, Moms and Dads... mostly Republicans.
Plus, most of us have caller ID or cell phones...and we don't tend to answer phone numbers we don't recognize.
Then there's the Republican/conservatives who answer the polls as if they were left-wing liberals... ;O)
...and that doesn't include outright bias and fraud on the part of the polling companies...or their use of ten, twenty or even thirty year old models and philosophies for their polls.
...just something to consider when yer read about polls about the Irey race...or any other race, for that matter.
We will gladly help you. What exactly do you want to verify?
Fred is a long time FReeper. If you check his homepage, he has documented a great deal about MN and the DNC.
According to the Boot Murtha map, that is tracking where al-Murthawi has been going, he has been in MN.
My guess is that the comments you are referring to are correct.
Welcome to FR, btw. Hope you are enjoying so far.
Hugs from the Pac NW. Kerry laid the Dems' egg today, and you guys were among the first to jump on it.
So, can you corroborate if Francois Beard is going to work for Casey tomorrow? [Which is today, your time]
We keep running the ball like this, and Fabulous Diana will pull this out. Hell, even Seattle lefties might sit this one out. What a magnificent 24 hours, on top of our momentum since Lynne Cheney.
A fabulous day and I missed most of the excitement!
So, can you corroborate if Francois Beard is going to work for Casey tomorrow?
WELL, according to my sources, old J Effin K, has cut-and-run on his promise to "work" for Casey tomorrow.
HOWEVER, IF he is a man and shows up.....the FReepers are ready for him. ROTFLOL!
I have a horrible, nefarious secret to share:
I'd like to see the 22nd Amendment repealed, placing the Senate back in the place of state legislatures rather than a "Super House" responsible for executive appointments.
As some smart, thoughtful gentlemen thought of it a few years ago...
Keep up the pressure - and ping me if that slug Congressman of yours does anything.
God Bless and Cheers,
J-
65, 61, 56, 56 and 51% The President lost one by .5%
The big push, of course, in the "Progressive Era" was the 19th Amendment (which I would, with a few drinks in me, argue against, but hardly in a serious fashion, as I've noticed the fiercest FReepers are of the Fairer Gender), but the nation's population was so small and malleable they might have overplayed the politics of the time.
Still, one could wonder, with "reasonable" constitutional consensus now (notwithstanding the ridiculous courts) among the genteel citizenry if a direct repeal of the 22nd might be possible. I've pinged a guy who knows a thing or two.
Good Night, and God Bless the PA 12th. You folks are gonna Shock The World.
J-
Yes, I've heard Mark call for the repeal of the 22nd, IIRC.
I'm headed for some much needed sleep. Six BIG days left to turn the loose ends into a VICTORY banner.
It would be GREAT if Mark would have Diana on his show again. (HINT HINT!!!)
Good Heavens! Get your beauty sleep!
I'm off to mine, in fact. TTYT.
G'night! ;*)
Murtha has been campaigning for Coleen Rowley, a former FBI agent (and not a good one at that) now challenging John Kline for the MN-2 district. She had authorized an ad replacing Kline's Marine uniform with that of the Nazi SS. John Kline had served for 25 years in the Corps. Rowley has made a comment that those who had served in the military had too much of the "good soldier" mentality, which is "inappropriate" for serving in Congress (or even participating in the political system) except Murtha is apparently exempt from that 'cuz he's a 'Rat.
Pint to the daily update (thank you Justanobody!)

Morning, everybody! Rise, shine, and give God the glory!
LOL! Look at the times! You beat me by 30 seconds and you still wear the crown, freema!
As my pal John Hartford used to say, there's just no beginning to my talent! (Nyuk, nyuck.) Thanks for the kind words!
