Much appreciated.
Wow a little over 200 out of the 400,000 or so that have served. Less than .0007 percent.
______
Well put. My friend, who is an active duty USAF pilot, always comments on how the media never accurately portrays the military's point of view. For example, they'll have two retired military guys on tv to talk about the war in iraq, or torture, or club gitmo, etc; one will be for and one will be against. His point is that the setup makes it looks like half of the military is for and half is again..when in reality, they would need a few thousand (alteast) on the for side to balance out the one idiot against. Fair and balanced my ***...
I was a cop in the AF many many many years ago, and I'm pretty sure you're right. At a minimum they'll get an article 15 , the leaders (at least) a BCD.
Followed of course by a lecture tour of college campuses.

WHAT! And help the President! Not likely.
Yours is besides the point. The soldiers voluntarily enlist and to perform the jobs they are trained and paid to do. Whether or not civilians want or care for them to be there is irrelevant.
This law should be repealed ASAP!! Can you imagine going on a mission with a guy [who has PUBLICLY & openingly expressed his anti-war stance & critcized the C-in-C] on your flank?
This is HORRIBLE for MORALE, not to mention friggin DANGEROUS for your health!!
"The 'RAT running against Jon Kyl here in Arizona is running ads with people wearing desert camouflage uniforms with U.S. Army over the left pocket. The ad has the guy's name, rank and U.S. Army listed as he trashes President Bush and the War on Terror."
I was just thinking about that. I thought there was something wrong with those commercials (and Pederson just looks underhanded and sleazy). I wonder if they get away with it by making minor changes to the uniform, like removing an important patch or something. I read somewhere that that has to be done in military themed films, because it is illegal to impersonate a military member by wearing a perfect replica of a complete, authentic uniform, so some minor change will be made to the uniform that appears on screen.
