Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Haiku
Four tired out Kittens
In Autumn Hues. Ready for
A warm, cuddly snooze
We ran here and there
Across the Yard without bounds
Chasing sights and sounds
Paws crunching on leaves
Slide occasionally for
Noisy birds to see
These leaves are tricky
Especially down hill. They're
Made for Kitten spills!
Take one step forward
And two steps back. On these leaves
Traction's what we lack!
Leap up high and slide
Leaves bunch up and twist and glide
Makes for a wild ride!
Time to go Inside
Though we're cold, we're also bold
Full of Feline Pride
Folds of warm Burlap
Draws us close. Energy sapped
Made for purring Naps
