I am your typical Republican "supervoter." .... But I'm seriously considering ending that streak this Nov. 7. ...
I'm also a contrarian -- a conservative with libertarian leanings. Combine all these characteristics, then mix in the aggregate Republican record, allow the ire it has created to rise and bake it for a few years and here's what comes out of the oven:
A party base that's mad as hell and no longer willing to rationalize GOP failures. It's a base whose crust grows darker and thicker -- i.e., angrier -- when prominent conservatives and Republicans -- politicians, pundits, radio talk-show hosts and think tankers sensing impending electoral doom -- pop out of their pumpkins and upbraid the watered-on for complaining about being wet.
....
...Pay no attention to the recidivists behind the curtain who, once every two years or four or six, make grand promises of fealty to conservative and party principles only to repeatedly fail to deliver. ... What's the definition of insanity again? In this case it's constantly returning Republicans to power and having the audacity to expect different results. And what could be more stupid than that?
....
Look, folks, it's time to take a stand. Returning this current crew of Republicans to power will only embolden them to spend more time, not less, off the conservative reservation. This is no time to dance the Rationalization Rumba. It is time for the GOP base to deliver a very big SMACK. It's the only way to start the process of true Republican/conservative reclamation.
Fellow Republicans and conservatives, do what you must on Nov. 7. But I, for one, refuse to yet again enter my polling place, vote for the usual GOP suspects...
It's time for the long-spanked to do some spanking.

How many RINOs is PA sending to DC this year?
Now don't try to inject FACTS into this discussion!
Sarcasm noted....
No, this is my correct website. However, rather than a continuous pep-rally for R's, I am more about promoting true conservatism and how to do that. Placing a -R behind a candidate's name does not mean that he supports conservative princples.
If Joe said it, well, somebody else probably said it first and he's just taking credit.
And it's probably not true, so I wouldn't sweat it.
And why would they wait till after the election? I mean the Iraq is supposed to be a quagmire and it's going to cost the Republicans the House etc.? I mean, if they really believed it, you would think they would be coming out now because the pundits say that's the only chance to salavage things? Hmmmmm.
As far as I'm concerned, ALL elections are national! We found that one rogue mayor in CA can undermine not only the laws of his own state, but that of federal law and no one will hold him accountable.
So do you Brown Shirts.
Here's a warning - if the renegade Republicans are not taught a lesson now and come back in line with the people who put them in power
Do me a favor a teach them a lesson after I'm dead and gone and so are my grandchildren.
Apostates, eh? Interesting use of the language.
If you are going to join the debate, at least be serious.
Hillary will never become a Republican so your point is invalid.
However, for the sake of argument, if Hillary was running for senator as a Republican (in a state I was allowed to vote in) I would vote for her.
Why you may ask? The way the rules are in congress, the polictical parties control who is in charge. Individuals are assigned duties according to which party is currently in charge. If voting for Hillary would mean the difference between the Republicans in charge as opposed to Democrats, I would hold my nose and vote for her.
Do I like this system, no, but it is what it is.
Uh, no. The villians here are those who want to cut off their nose to spite their face, which is what you and those who rah-rah this pile of crap article are advocating. Just because you didn't get off your butt and campaign for a "real conservative" in your state doesn't mean I'm going to punish my state and the country with electing DemocRATS.
Glad to see you're working so hard to get rid of Rendell.
What?
Oh, never mind.
Why are you all always living in the past? This is a NEW world now........the liberals we're dealing with now are not the 1994 liberals.
These people are the people who didn't get to destroy this country back in the 60s and their SPAWN; they're back to finish her off.
Can I not wish them on my great grandchildren either? Maybe we can just leave them alone with their principles.
I'd rather they move to Cuba....the government the DUmocrats want already exists there. The Cubans love it so much they'll swim with sharks to escape it.
Yeah! punish the GOP and at the same time you are punishing us, the country and all who protect Her.....no thanks, my son needs all the support he can get.
You, my dear, are the villian on this thread; you purposefully posted this article to try to divide this forum and Republicans.
I look forward to November 8th and serving you a big plate of crow.
And then hope you wander back into irrelevancy.
In case you wonder, the owner of this web site is on record as supporting ALL Republicans running for office this year; I suspect if you continue to work against us, you will join your pal Badray.
I agree.
But you fix that during primary season.
You fix that by getting involved in your party at the grassroots level to field better candidates.
You don't fix that by electing a democratic majority.
In 1992 people thought they could teach the GOP a lesson by voting for Perot and gave us eight years (or more) of the damn dirty Clintons.
