JUBILANT DEMOCRATS SHOULD RECONSIDER their order for confetti and noisemakers, BARRON's claims in their next edition. The Democrats, as widely reported, are expecting GOP-weary voters to flock to the polls in two weeks and hand them control of the House for the first time in 12 years -- and perhaps the Senate, as well. Even some Republicans privately confess that they are anticipating the election-day equivalent of Little Big Horn. Pardon our hubris, but we just don't see it.
Our analysis -- based on a race-by-race examination of campaign-finance data -- suggests that the GOP will hang on to both chambers, at least nominally. We expect the Republican majority in the House to fall by eight seats, to 224 of the chamber's 435. At the very worst, our analysis suggests, the party's loss could be as large as 14 seats, leaving a one-seat majority. But that is still a far cry from the 20-seat loss some are predicting. In the Senate, with 100 seats, we see the GOP winding up with 52, down three.

The DU server will crash from all the "I'm moving my family to Canada/France/Belgium/Venezuela" posts. Howard Dean will implode and become a black hole. Nancy Pelosi will resort to Botox to hide the meth shivers. Kennedy will have a stiff drink. Kerry will go kite surfing in the Bahamas. Hillary! will convene her minions in the Rat Cave. Schumer will finally get a keycard to the Rat Cave. Dingy Harry will be...invisible. Angels will dance on the head of a pin, and the lyin' will lie down with the lame.
A crack in the space-time continuum will emerge in the Bermuda Triangle, and all of the iced vanilla latte quad-shots will disappear. A tree will fall in the forest, unheard...

It really is going to be fun!...........Off subject a bit, but not really. I was just flipping channels ,and saw a promo on HBO of an upcoming special thats going to play on Nov. 2! The MSM is out of control. GUESS WHAT THE NAME OF IT IS?! '' Hacking Elections''! Or something like that. It is a so called ''documentary'' of how all our recent elections have been ''hacked'' or ''stolen''! At the end of the promo they show a big clip of President Bush and Laura on Inaugural day! Will the MSM EVER QUIT!? Has anyone else seen this?!

I watched the Rhode Island debate on c-span, and it is my op;inion that Chaffe will win. He came across as knowledgable, public spirited, and likeable. His opponent is a brute.

I don't know about Santorum...the hostility here is pretty high. Though the interesting thing I've heard is that people actually like Casey LESS after seeing that ad he did..."he looks like a slimeball"
We should hold the Senate, but I don't think we'll hold on to Santorum's seat.

I've never seen the Democrat media work so hard to try and create their partisan liberal reality as I have in this election.

This fits in precisely with the numbers I've been citing, 8 net seat loss in the House and 3 seats lost in the Senate net, maybe only 2 if Steele can pull it out in Maryland.

Yeah, right, sorry, the context was congress, wasn't it. Sometimes I think people don't vote because they think it is useless, especially in a lopsided state like MA., but that's just what they want us to think so they can win all their candidates in all races.
