SAN DIEGO CNN has become "the publicist for an enemy propaganda film" by broadcasting a video showing an insurgent sniper in Iraq apparently killing an American soldier, the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee said here Friday.
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-El Cajon) called for the Pentagon to oust any CNN reporter embedded with U.S. troops in Iraq.
"I think Americans like to think we're all in this together," Hunter said. "The average American Marine or soldier has concluded after seeing that film that CNN is not on their side."
CNN said it broadcast the brief video to show the threat that insurgent snipers posed to U.S. troops.
"Whether or not you agree with us in this case, our goal, as always, is to present the unvarnished truth as best we can," CNN producer David Doss wrote in a blog on the network's website.
Tony Snow, President Bush's press secretary, said the insurgents were hoping to "break the will of the American people" by giving the video to CNN.

What, is this propaganda comedy week, or something?
Oust them is the least they should do, charge them with aiding and abetting the enemy with use of known propaganda.
".....present the unvarnished truth as best we can," CNN producer David Doss wrote......"
True - if he means that the unvarnished truth consists of CNN's longing for us to lose the war. First CNN's Arnett assures Muslim terrorists that Americans are "afraid" and certain of loss in Iraq, then we are confronted with a CNN honcho who (in Sweden no less) claims that American troops are targeting embedded media personnnel, now we are treated to this. When, oh when, will CNN be kicked off the air in the U.S. and let the rest of the world support their American-hating butts???
Americans too sensitive to see videos of 911 but not to see Muslims pigs shoots soldiers.
The demoncrat mind.

I heard France is just bonkers over Jerry Lewis too.
TT
CNN should definitely be booted out but I'll not hold my breath waiting for it to happen.
What about treason? Do you know if a civilian can file a complaint for this?
CNN has become worse than Al Jazeera .Would the U.S allow one of their reporters to embed? I think not-it is time for CNN to be officially outed as the terrorist sympathizer that they are
Let's flood CNN with small cans of varnish and brushes. Let their lobby fill up with so much varnish that they get sited for becoming a waste dump, illegal dumping at that, or, maybe they get cited from the gubermint for breaking VOC laws and not having MSDS sheets on hand.
Look, seems to me shutting down CNN isn't the proper route to follow. Instead, start rounding up the principal stockholders and seizing their assets ~ kind of like the Afga deal in WWII.
CNN - The biggest recruiting tool for the terrorists . . . .
I loathe CNN! I saw that footage and it was sickening. Then last night that old goat, Jack Cafferty, had a program titled "Broken Government". I could only watch a tiny bit since he makes me absolutely sick, but it seemed to be him spouting his own hatred about Pres. Bush and the Republicans. He was reading emails that people were sending in during the program and the little I saw, he obviously only picked the ones that had the same views as he. Wasn't he involved in some accident when he was drunk awhile back? He and CNN should be booted off the air!
A civilian can always file a Federal Complaint but because of so many legal loopholes the Feds won't even look into it and just call it Freedom of Speech or the Press. The best way to deal with the enemy is on the battlefield and that includes the MSM. Accidents do happen.
CNN has sided with the enemy. I call them what they are: Traitors.
A total slime. Who is he, anyway? Never heard of him before he showed up there.
