With an unusually large number of tight races and dozens of states shifting to new electronic voting systems, election officials across the country are bracing for long lines and heightened confusion at the polls on Election Day, Nov. 7, the NEW YORK TIMES will front on Thursday.
"North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Mississippi and Missouri are among the states considered most likely to experience difficulties, according to voting experts who have been tracking the new technology and other election changes.

She said that whole media world loved the Dixie Chicks and put them forefront on magazines, interviews and airtime stories.
Unfortunately, the overlooked truth is, the DCs can't sell tickets or albums to Americans.
The caller then questioned if the same practices were being used in the polls regarding election preferences.
Consider the source, particularly in the case of the New York Times.
Same old samo samo. In the meantime I am making a fortune on my investment in Diebold voting machines. Karl Rove you magnificant bastard!LOL!
I agree fully with that analogy. The MSM is hell-bent to demonize the GOP, even more than usual, this election cycle. You can almost see them metaphorically swinging the shiny pocket watch saying, "You like DEMOCRATS. DEMOCRATS are good. You want to vote DEMOCRATIC. GOP is evil and out of the mainstream. . ." Then they support their watch-swinging with specious polls and even less valid inferences therefrom (e.g., "GOP in Freefall", "Democrats surging, clear preference for vast majority of voters").
It really is laughable -- and highly transparent if you look and think closely enough.
I tell every democrat I know that there's no sense in their voting. The machines are rigged for the republicans to win anyway so they might as well stay home. Heh. They don't know quite how to react since their own people are saying the same thing. lol
The election will be settled by middle of January if we're lucky.
A POX ON THE DEMS
"DEAD PEOPLE."
Don't forget slashed tires.
The excuses begin.
This time, when they lose yet again, despite what their manufactured polls claim, they are going to go beyond legal challenges. This time they're going to do what the Marxists who lost in Mexico have done and start putting up barricades and taking over cities.
Is anyone checking on leftists stockpiling weapons?
The Dems - and that includes the New York Times - are absolutely paranoid about this election stuff. No power on Earth can convince them that elections haven't been stolen from them.
Any election the Dems lose they will challange and try to overturn. That will be the chaos the article is referring to. That is the planned anarchy that all of Soros' money is funding.
Laying the groundwork for the lawsuits after Democrats lose.
In Natchez, Mississippi the clerk in charge of the machines has been running ads on TV for a long time inviting citizens to drop by the courthouse and try out a demo machine. The staff will teach any voter anything they need to know. I imagine other areas may offer similar assistance.
You nailed it precisely 100% dead-center.
Yes, they are easy to use.
Bingo. So they come up with wacky cheating conspiracy theories that they pass as truth.
The Dem cheaters love those punch card ballots.
By IAN URBINA WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 New electronic voting machines have arrived in Yolo County, Calif., but there is one hitch: the audio program for the visually impaired in some of them works only in Vietnamese.
Had to stop there. Of course there are going to be problems if we can not deliver perfectly operating voting machines, with audio systems for the visually impaired, in 157 languages.
The only language that can be not left off the ballot is Vietnamese.
The language of the country that beat us in the last war.
It was part of the treaty.
There are many Democrats proclaiming that voting booths that carry English instructions are a form of harrassment in certain areas. They feel Ebonics is clear enough and likely to be understood by more non Spanish speaking residents.
Every close precinct will wind up in Court.
Gee, with a 25% lead in the polls why should they be worried?? Excuses??
Pray for W and The Election
Dems - already making excuses in case they lose.
