Back before I got married and living at home.. we use to get calls from Senior Groups telling us how great it was that my father was reaching retirement age and how he could now collect ss and all the benefits

We use to say .. we'd love to tell him that, but he's been dead (at the time) for 2O years

The next thing we'd hear was .. click

My grandfather still gets snail mail like that and he's been dead 22 and a half years.

LOL! My dad passed away about six years ago. Every once in a while I'll get a call asking to speak with my dad. I kept telling them he is dead.

This one obnoxious jerk called here one day demanding to speak with my dad. I told him to write this down and then I gave him directions to the cemetery.

Then I told him, "My father is buried there. Feel free to drive out there and talk to him all you want. I can't guarantee that he'll answer you though. But, by all means you're welcome to give it a try".

Then I hung up on the jerk. He never called back. lol
