Let's delve a little deeper into the N.Korean recent history.

When WWII ended Stalin and US had an agreement to leave the control of the Korean peninsula as one country. Well Stalin changed his mind, boycotted the UN and refused to leave N.Korea. In 1950, Stalin made a secret pact with China to send down 120,000 + bodies into N.Korea, while Stalin secretly gave air support and oversaw the war.

Stalin died and a line was drawn that maintains to this day is the separation of the Korean peninsula leaving N.Korea frozen in time.

Now along come the collapse of the Soviet style communism and our very own Clintons adopted the N.Korean peninsula with a deal to provide them with food, oil, and assistance in building nuclear energy.

Well while our leaders were focused upon becoming the world loved leaders, and enhancing their own personal economy, they ignored the mass starvation of the people of N.Korea, even though we tax payers were funding food shipments to feed those people.

So to continue to use that piece of real estate ruled with the Soviet style iron fist is NOT something that gives Putin a look of freedom. Putin's willingness to use as international tool the former Soviet style oppression as trade for US support makes Putin hands very very dirty.

I'm not aware that Putin "uses" N.Korea anyhow. How can he? I think N.Korea acts on its own and I have no clue it's going otherwise.
