To: Just mythoughts
So to continue to use that piece of real estate ruled with the Soviet style iron fist is NOT something that gives Putin a look of freedom. Putin's willingness to use as international tool the former Soviet style oppression as trade for US support makes Putin hands very very dirty.

I'm not aware that Putin "uses" N.Korea anyhow. How can he? I think N.Korea acts on its own and I have no clue it's going otherwise.

Putin has maintained a close relationship with the ruler Il, sent him horses for his birthday a few years back.

Putin's representative at the UN continuously rejects any kind of pressure or action to free the people of N.Korea.
