Give us some reasons we shouldn't. Meanwhile, I'll give you one reason not to believe Savage may not be. (Ahem) HE DONATED TO JERRY FREAKING BROWN for ATTORNEY GENERAL!Excellent response.
Moonbeam is a HARD CORE LEFTY. His supposed moving to the center is a transparent calculation. At least, it should transparent to any political junkie here on FR!!

Savage said. "And this, this Machugian guy. (Like we said, it's Poochigian.) I never heard of him. That's typical Savage schtick. He always says he never heard of someone that he doesn't like.
Savage is just lucky that "Machuga" isn't some racial slur in Africa.

If you were stalled on a Cali freeway today you can thank Moon Beam McBrown for your wasted time. He singlehandedly setback construction for 50 years and Billions and Billions of dollars of your money to catchup...

Had people telling me for a while to check him out. Last year, while driving down to visit relatives, I stumbled on his show. First 15 minutes was going good, then he went to commercial. When he came back, he started off on a 10 minute long screamfest/tirade against President Bush that had no merit whatsoever. Just a prolonged personal attack. Changed the station and never went back.
I agree with you. He's a asshole

I heard Weiner berate Republicans for not supporting the minimum wage, and when I brought it up to the Savage psychofants on the Freerepublic, they ignored this fact, slammed Rush Limbaugh, and posted pictures of a buffet. That is the funniest thing I've read all day. I am going to print that one up and put it on my office wall. Well done.

That episode was probably the only time I ever agreed with Chuck the Schmuck (whatever his real motives). Chuck was blasting the deal with Dubai over the ports.

I have always felt that Savage was playing conservatives. This does not prove that necessarily, but Jerry Brown support is just one more piece of evidence.
To: arual
LOL - he's supporting Jerry Brown? Will people still defend this guy as a conservative?
To: MeanWestTexan
Aye - and that you have Savage himself doing the promos for it. Almost forgot about that.

Silber was a Democrat and he was much better candidate for Governor of Massachusetts than
Republican Weld.

Toomey would have gone down in flames. The result is that the Senate may have switched parties causing Bush's judicial appointment not to get through, the 700 mile fence to get through.
I would like to think that Toomey could rally to victory in the general, but the practical result would have been a more liberal senate by giving the nomination to Toomey. W knew this. This is why they have supported a lot of people whom we don't care for too much but are reliable votes for giving leadership, control, and chairmanships to people we love.

He is often very entertaining. At times when I am furious at the RINOs, there is Savage screaming. He often has been very good in supporting the good guys, but sometimes (many?) is fooled, such as by Schumer and Rangel recently. He doesn't though assume the US military is guilty, as our State Dept does. I take him, as with all talkers, with a grain of salt.

Bisque got booted? Is that a rumor or true?
If so, for what? I know that he/she/whatever leveled some nasty stuff at me, but I thought it was typical Savage spew, nothing serious.

Thanks M
It has to be hard being a Freeper AND a Savage fan. That must account for the weazle-like response/non-response when they are confronted with Weiner's own words.

Savage strikes me as being like the libs in that he allows his emotions to override reality and reason.
He dislikes Bush because Bush isn't an emperor and has to operate within the realm of political reality; He dislikes Limbaugh because Rush has a big audience; he dislikes all other talk show hosts because they don't kiss up to him, and so on.
I agree with a lot of Savage's positions, but his supporting a liberal is one more proof he can't be taken seriously.
