I said court or legislature. In case of gay "marriage" it was a court, the number PI was a legislature. Google and you will find it. Either way, my point was that the law is not the best method of scientific inquiry.

"Marriage" is a legal/legislative invention and subject to the legal/legislative process. And is irrelevant to the subject at hand.

The attempt to legislate the value of Pi was in the 1890's (and failed).

Either way, my point was that the law is not the best method of scientific inquiry.

But is the proper way to ensure religion is not taught in lieu of science. And to do that, it needs to establish what is and isn't science. TToE is. Creationism and ID are not.
