My 13 year old never uses the computer without parental supervision and if she posts something that I find offensive (even if it is just a tiny bit offensive) I have her remove it and we have a conversation about it.

If your child downloaded music you'd be held responsible and have to pay huge fines to the music industry. Too bad parents can't be held responsible when their kids threaten others online, I bet more parents wold do as you do then.

Well to many parents think it is okay to let the kids have a computer in their bedroom and there in lies the problem.

We have our computers in the living room and the kids never use it unsupervised,since my husband and I work different shifts.
