Reposting someone else's post on this thread. Said local news was reporting it.

I don't listen to 950 (outside of Rush and maybe a little Savage) so I don't get the 740AM "news" (their traffic and weather updates were both bad during the Rita evacuation and their city coverage seems always to be ra-ra downtown business establishment).

I guess channel 2,11,13 are also reporting it as a newsflash. I don't watch them either. Same problems as 740 (although Channel 11 is good with weather). Ch 26 and 39 don't have news until 9pm.

Channel 26 had FoxNews Cable on...it was shep reporting...

I was wondering if it's the Texas Air National Guard out of Ellinton...the F-2's...Air National Guard doesn't fly those and neither does the Air Force?

I understand you're reporting what you copied on this thread but??? can someone tell me?

OK...it was Texas Air National Guard out of Ellington they were F-16's - 2 of 'em. They were immediately sent out. And they're still up in the air.
