It is brilliant.
The RNC is about 20 years behind on advertising, so they are more comfortable with the sappy, wimpy pablum put to elevator music.
They are fools.
This is humorous, attention getting and guess what? It is getting more press than ANY ad the RNC has produced in a decade.
I guess they are so busy going on defense, that they perceive anything else as.....offensive. Too bad they don't know that going on offense is a good thing. :)

you gotta understand the "new media." you officially distance yourself from the racy stuff, knowing full well it's going to get full play in the "underground." All the more so because you say you "don't approve." At first, I was wondering how we can count on Republicans to fight terrorism when they won't even fight the 'rats. Then I remembered that we use SpecOps and other covert ways of neutralizing an enemy. Putting this into the New Media is brilliant. The Pajamhudeen are fighting another battle and winning.

Amazing what gets a reaction here.
Old Ben can expound brilliantly (he thinks) on history or politcs and get nary a response.
But cast an aspersion on such profound cinematic achievements as "Scary Movie"?

There's an anti Leiberman campaign ad right there on the opening page. I really want to know what the difference is from one campaign ad to the next....(That was rhetorical folks)

Pretty good market penetration for "free"... And everyone who viewed it chose to do so, so we're talking about viewers who are at least quasi-interested in politics, most of them presumably likely voters...
And, by the way, the video would be #2 on the Most Viewed Today list, IF YouTube wasn't censoring it from that list.

Absolutely. Use the ads nation-wide. The GOP must use Vernon Robinson's campaign agents!

This seems too obscure for the great unwashed. You have to be somewhat of a political junky to understand it. Show this to the average schmuck and he won't understand who the fat lady in blue is, why the chinese guy picked up the assault rifle, or why the fat lady has a paint roller in the background of the terrorist video.

The keystone of propaganda is that the medium does the influencing, regardless of who says they "approve" of the message. Ding, ding, ding ... we have a winner.
Don Pardo, tell him what he's won.

What we need is the video in WMV or AVI format so we can e-mail it to the entire world.
