I got a bugmenot...
I saw it when the link was referenced in a different article. My first reaction was "Damn, this is never going to be used as an ad on TV" - that was while I was laughing and forming a list of folks to whom I would send the link via e-mail.
It sure is, lol.
I watched it. I just didn't watch it at YouTube.
Ronald Reagan used it all the time (with the Soviet Union, Cuba, Eastern Europe, Central America).
Satiric humor is very, VERY appropriate--especially when the underlying point is TRUE!
The 'point' of this video is 'right on the mark'. If the Republicans won't use it--they deserve to take a big hit in the upcoming elections. Their 'lack of backbone' has already turned off enough Republicans.
Which is unfortunate because it's a great ad.
Restraint is the sole province of the Republicans. In the land of Retraint, there are Dimocratz, maybe a Lieberman or two but no Klintoons, no Gores, no Kerrys, etc.
I imagine that it is spreading across the internet. In a few days it may get mention or play on Fox News.
As as political satire goes, it's PERFECT.
First, it must be accurate. THIS IS. Second, it should use humor. This does. Third, it should be something that gets your attention and that you will remember. BINGO. It does all three--just like ANY effective commercial ad should!
On top of that, it is MUCH MORE accurate than most of the biting and insulting (and inaccurate) political ads that the democrats are SPEWING.
The Republicans need to get a 'pair'--and USE IT.

That would be nice. :-D
I agree. And Madeline Albright doesn't look bad at all, LOL.
I still think that Madeline and Kim make a WONDERFUL couple!!!...lol
They do and they are better looking than the real thing.
It would not be the first time that something on FR made its way to Fox News...
True. Looking forward to it.
Who knows, Rush, Hannity, and other radio pundits may mention it.
Now up over 122,000 views on YouTube! In just what, a half a day or less?
"One GOP strategist said "jaws dropped" when the ad was first viewed. "Nobody could believe Zucker thought any political organization could use this ad. It makes a point, but it's way over the top."
IOW, "we WANT to get our guts kicked out, and at least we will remain dignified."
I'd rather be a mean winner than a dignified loser anyday.
