SEOUL, South Korea (AP) Yonhap news agency reports that a government official says there are "signs" of a North Korean nuclear test.
Yup.

As have people here. I can believe that some seismic detectors might pick it up, but it wouldn't be anything obvious.
Do we even monitor something that small here? Im not sure we could pick it up in CONUS..only foreign seismic could pick it up.
"They're truly anti-American. I mean that seriously too."
I know you do...I agree with you!
its the anniversary of his appointment to the head of the communist party in NK, according to janice dean.
ah, yes....I forgot that they were there on July 4th...

Bill Gertz on Drudge right now...conflicting stories.

Rove called Kim and asked him to test the bomb now. Sure.
In other words,I have little to worry about(future-wise)?It will ALL be over very soon(Unless The U.N.passes a RESOLUTION)?????????????

If it is under 4.0 and underground, I suspect that the yield of the weapon is not all that great. Would suspect a small fission device instead of the bigger, badder brother the H-bomb. Or, perhaps a dud? Not sure what to make of this, but the hand wrining is sure to get good ratings for cable news. IF this is a nuclear weapon with that low of a yield, to put it in perspective, it is far more symbolic than threatening.
What on earth do they need for confirmation on this. Is it seismic activity in the earth or what?! How could one confirm this is true?
We can't even get our UN Ambassador confirmed.... the world is going to he!! in a handbasket and the RINO's hold up one of the most important appointments.
