They don't have the ability to reach American soil. The US troop footprint in the RoK is low and can be dispersed.

Our majority - and taking down that regime - is worth Seoul.

I think we just need to end all food shipments to NK and simply threaten allowing Japan to rearm themselves. Either the starving NKs or the nervous Chinese will take Kimmy Jong out.

As much as I think Howard Dean is a maniac, his mantra last week will resonate with voters:
5 years after Bush took office, NK has nukes
5 years after, Iran is getting nukes,
5 years later, no bin Laden.

Bush needs to do something to address this. And it might be wise to do it in the next three weeks. Clinton paused before the election, thinking people would claim any action taken against UBL would be seen as political maneuvering. Bush has nothing to lose.
