President Clinton - in some of his most strident language to date - warned Sunday he will not let North Korea develop a nuclear bomb.
Clinton , on NBC's Meet the Press, also declined to rule out a pre-emptive strike against North Korea 's nuclear facilities, from which international observers have been banned.
"We have got to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons," Clinton said.

And then in 1994, Clinton gave them billions of dollars in aid--and let them develop a nuclear reactor---IF they 'promised' to not develop nuclear weapons.
THANKS SLICK,,,,THANKS A LOT!!!!!! /s

This should have some effect on the seismic signals.Yes, but our Subs are off shore and likely got a good read. The solid rock strata of NK is also a variable. But, it looks like they got a decent yield. Maybe 2-3 KT...... It was no squib.....

I think that it was mored done, than not, but yes, I don't think that we have a peace treaty signed by them.

FNC said the US govt. said there was no nuclear activity in the area in the last 48 hrs. Wonder which it is. Look at the two seismograms below. The Indian nuke test has a huge spike at the beginning. The NK one just rambles on with ten minutes of rumbling leading up to it. I wonder if little Kim is just playing with ammonium nitrate again.

Oh, I see. Okay, it's just a replay of Saddam ignoring 17 UN resolutions, as well as the sign off after the FIRST IRAQ WAR.

Rest assured the Demoncratic Leadership, whose snivelling appeasement efforts were led by Bubbah and Jimmah in the creation of this abomination, is already hard at work weaving a dense web of outrageous and shameless lies to shill to the American public through the MSM tomorrow.
The official line will be that Bush allowed this to happen. The Demoncrats don't even try to be discrete in pitching their lies anymore. They know the ignorant public will swallow any hook they throw in the water.

Sigh.
There's no North Korean Nuclear Test on that seismogram. What you seem to think is the NK test for some reason, is actually a Magnitude 6.2 earthuake near Tonga in the South Pacific about 2PM eastern time last afternoon.

North Korea just violated the Cease Fire Agreement. It stipulates NO nuclear weapons on the peninsula. So we are at war right now. Thousands of Americans are at risk.

Looks like the quake program is dead on. A road ends atop the hill at the precise coordinates, and if my eye is any good, the road from the southwest that appears to disappear under the hill runs right to the same spot.
If I was Iran or North Korea, I'd say we'd already concluded the sale, after making sure the other would back me up, whether we had or not.
They say they contained it, if not, Weather Underground says the wind is out of the NW, 4 to 7 mph.
