you heard the same things I did nothing wrong there
She has spent all week ticking her listeners off by insisting that Hastert resign. If she didn't say that on Fox, then she is backtracking from her statements of last week.
You haven't been listening to her show lately.
I just finished the segment that featured (among others) Laura Ingraham. I found nothing improper, right-bashing, or slighting in any of her comments.
I agree with you 100%. Today she was right on. And I am no longer a fan of hers. I stopped listening to her show 6 months ago.
Her inbox must have melted down with fury.
She's a constant basher of all things in this administration and republican party.
She's sooo much smarter than all of us you know. More military experience, elected to more political offices, more knowledgeable on global issues too. Why she ought to be Secretary of State and Defense Secretary too.
The problem was what she was saying on her show all week. "Hastert must have known." "I can't believe that Hastert didn't know. That just strains credulity." "It's just not believable that they didn't do anything about this unless they were trying to protect the seat."
She got caught up in what the Drive By Media was selling and bought their version of "The Truth." She had Hastert on her show Friday, was apparently quite respectful and appears to be back on the right path. I think she's wrong in pushing the "let's just move on" idea. That let's the dhimmicrat lies stand. I think the story that must come out of this is the story of how George Soros funded organizations coordinated this, most likely with the DCCC and DNC, as a planned political sliming.
The key factor for me is the threat by Mike Rogers and CREW to out more "gay Republican" office holders and staffers, starting Monday. Rogers has been up front that he used information to blackmail a sitting US Senator, reportedly over the Alito vote. The only "Republican" who voted against Alito is Lincoln Chaffee. If that turns out to be true that is a major felony and a scandal to make Watergate look extremely minor. Senior members of the Dhimmicrat party could do serious jail time if they had knowledge of that little "dirty trick."
#298, you are listening to her now with the disadvantage of not having listened to her in the first week after this happened. Her hindsight seems to be 20-20 where her first few days proclamations about the entire matter were deaf, dumb, and blind. she needs to do better, she has been around a long time to be so tone deaf. Get it right Laura or get the Hell out of the way......
According to FR's Laura Ingraham threads for Thursday, Oct. 5, Laura made it loud and clear that she thought Hastert should RESIGN NOW. What she said on FNS today was sensible and right -- but it was most decidedly not what she has been saying on her show. She just weaseled out of it -- she didn't even have the guts to say, "Look, I've changed my mind." Instead, she was totally vague about her PRIOR stance just a few days ago. On FNS, she revealed herself as a chicken.
I was once a big fan of her show, but she lost me as a listener about a year ago, when it seemed like she badmouthed Republicans more than she badmouthed Democrats. I did then and continue to now regularly give her a chance and tune her in for ten mintutes or so, and sure enough ... give her ehough time, and she does the OPPOSITE of what she advised today on FNS -- she allows herself to become distracted and throws fellow Republicans under the bus instead of keeping the focus on dangerous and hypocritical Democrats. Plus -- and this is probably the thing I like least about her style -- what she thinks is wit and humor is really just derision and scorn. Zero class. True class -- Rush, W.E. Williams (*swoon*), Mark Steyn, Hugh Hewitt, Tony Snow, even Ann Coulter who falters often -- don't rely on derision and scorn to get yuks. Laura Ingraham, I am sad to say, looks more and more like a homecoming queen phony baloney.
With "Conservatives" like Laura Ingraham, who needs Liberals?
