As tolerance spreads in America we

Why do we continue to call it "tolerance"?

"Tolerance - noun:

willingness to accept behavior and beliefs which are different from your own, although you might not agree with or approve of them."

These groups demand tolerance - but ONLY for themselves. For example: We have a national holiday coming up soon. It's called "Christmas." (Except we're not supposed to call it CHRISTMAS anymore. someone might get offended. No matter that many more of us - here in our own country - will be offended that we're not supposed to see or hear anything that says "Christmas" or - (gasp) Baby Jesus.

Tolerance is not a one sided action...What we have is major intolerance.

People immigrate to another country, refuse to assimilate and then demand the natives of that country suppress their own customs, so they wont be 'offended' while they - the intruders - set up their own customs.

That is not "tolerance"
