These kids, young staffers knew Foley had a problem with young boys, and as a ha-ha they baited him into cybering, then spread it around as a joke?

This kid needs help. He actually could have brought this to the attention of the speaker, but he got his rocks off faking Foley into thinking he was into him. This kid is sicker than Foley.

Sounds perfectly plausible to me. I have a 17 year old son of my own and have raised two more beyond that age. Although I don't think my sons would do such a thing, I have known 17 year olds who would do this sort of thing in a heartbeat and then laugh until they puked.

No. Admittedly it is sick for teenagers to play this kind of prank on a middle-aged homosexual. However, it is much worse for an adult man to show a sexual interest in a child.

Granted, it appears that the "kid" was over 18 when the nasty IMs were sent, but Foley didn't know that.
