CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.
Developing...
They are nuts and I just found out that I have been banned.
My posting last weekend resulted in a copper star with valor. Took at hit but got back to base. Only took three out, but I looked into their eyes.
Wait a minute, [just call me the time line police] I think that was on Monday that you said you saw him online, not yesterday.
It is Wednesday, isn't it?
This is a joke, right?
well we do need to find the facts and I don't think that they have been released yet. The jurisdiction will be important and that has not entrely been established yet has it? This is why they are investigating and have not yet charged Foley with anything. Not as cut and dried as it may seem. So we need to wait and see what the facts really are. DC may or may not be the jurisdiction involved, in fact it may span a few different jurisdictions.
That'll be an excellent start if you'll provide the Roses Lime Juice to go along with them.
so ALL the pages were pulling pranks with him? seems a little odd
Get it now ?
LOL You sound like me yesterday...some of these people have no INTENTION of getting it. I wanted to reach through the screen and choke them. I think they are the "domestic enemy" and intend us harm.
Dang. Over 70,000 page views. This must be the place.
First you must deny that any young boats have traveled under this 123y/o bridge and that it has not solicited trafic go upstream after admitting it allows upstream traffic. Then you must accept the excuse of fire water and being formed in a Catholic steelmill as reason for allowing this to occur.
If the state law says 16 is the age of consent, that's the age of consent. No, it's not "okay" for him to be hit on by someone who's 52, gay or straight - just as it's not "okay" for people to cheat on their spouses. Not everything that's wrong has to be illegal. Don't confuse clarification about the law with approving of Foley's actions.
Hopefully any son of mine would know how to block an e-mail or hit "ignore" when the IMing started.
Apparently you didn't read my post, very carefully, before you responded to it.
Indeed I did!
Though, for the record, I have blackmailed no one!
You and I have apparently read different IMs. In the exchange I read, the "kid" told Foley that his 18th birthday was a few months in the future. Foley responded that he knew that.
Thanks, MEG, for instructing the kid, on what's what around here. :-)
That wasn't my question. What law makes "a dirty trick to effect an election" a crime?
As far as I know, there is no such law.
Okay. What's Chuck LaBella doing these days?

Someone gives it to you, either the person to whom it belongs or someone who knows it. A lot of people who post on MySpace list their IM id.
