I was on another site and made the same suggestion yesterday. One lib thought it was a horrible idea (surprise!).
I think this is well worth investigating. Wasn't there a school shooting a couple years back and someone went to his car, got his gun, and the shooter surrendered rather than being shot himself?

I believe it was at a law school in Georgia. In fact I think it was a student who captured the gunman.

Yes, it was the local assistant principal who was a hunter, belonged to the NRA...
and he stopped the killing by the perp .
The liberals were upset.

Yes there was, but I'm surprised you know about it, the MSM did their best to cover that fact up.
Israel used to have a problem with terrorist targeting their schools, until they armed the teachers.

I agree, however, I think it could end up backfiring if they don't find an absolute foolproof way to handle the idea. Alot of these shootings are middle school or high school age kids with a grudge. If these guns are in any way accessible to a student there becomes a problem that may wind up happening more frequently than we are seeing now.
