We aren't all liberal hacks. My husband and I both teach high school and have concealed carry permits. I would feel MUCH better if we could carry in school. I carry everywhere else, so why do my 2nd amendment rights have to end at the schoolhouse door?

Agree. People who have CCW permits and have passed a police background check are just the right group to be armed. Others are saying every school should have a guard. Well, many schools are large complexes. One guard cannot cover it. How many would we need? How much would that cost? Schools are essentially advertised unarmed victim zones. If some of the staff and teachers were armed, the victims could fight back and some of the perps would be taken by surprise.

We agree. The students and the other teachers would be better protected, too.
