I still find it wrong even if the kid was 18 and I would expect that no FReepers will bother him (we ought not attack him either - we don't really know his involvement - he may have been keeping these so that something would be done about Foley etc.)
I think were the 18 thing is of interest is that the MSM has been going for blood (especially Hastert's) using the 'underage' title. If the MSM (and Ross) knew he was 18 - it is further evidence that they have intentionally misled people and exposes the Dem War machine for what it is. That's why people (besides FReepers) are interested in this.
IMO, I wish the blogger had concealed the page's name, but I'm not sure it would have been taken seriously as that is the bulk of his evidence...
The Blogger is supposed to say why he posted his identity (at least that is what he says). I guess it's in the next Post on his blog.
Even if the MSM/Dem machine is hammered by this and Foley was in contact with an adult (by law) - I won't miss Foley - unlike Billy and the Dems, I don't tolerate hanky panky at the office especially involving someone who has recently turned 18.
I suspect we'd find a lot of things "wrong" if we knew of the private sex lives, internet or otherwise, of our elected officials.
I still don't understand why a straight teenager would have put up with Foley for more than one inappropriate message. There may be a great explanation, I just don't know what it is.
I agree - not only are they harping on the underage aspect but many cable media are calling them "children"... Actually - didn't that Dem. political ad says something about abusing children???
