The Dems who love these alleged PRIVATE IM logs seem to hate the Patriot Act. Buuuttttttt, the Dems are ecstatic with joy over "tapping into" these private alleged IMS.

And those of us who can see know that this isn't about Foley or even about the “children” the liberals suddenly start caring about. If they really cared about them they would've raised the alarm back in 2003 when they supposedly knew about the instant messages. And if they are going to accuse Hastert of conspiracy and lack of leadership, where was the Speaker of the House - Democrat Tip O'Neil - in1983 when Gerry Studds, a Democrat Congressman from Massachusetts, had sexual relations with a page? Why didn't Speaker O'Neil demonstrate leadership and asked Studds to resign?
In fact, doing my research, I found that the Democrats didn't do that, they just censured him, and Studds kept getting reelected with the blessings and support of the whole Democrat Party.
Why didn't the Democrat Party get rid of the page program at that time if they cared so much about the children, and why didn't the media create the same stink they are enjoying now? Studds wasn't just “accused” of inappropriate emails or IM's with pages, HE WAS FOUND HAVING SEX with a page.
But I digress, this isn't about any of the above, this is about taking control of the House and the Senate. This is about appointing more leftist judges to the Supreme Court. This is about ending the war in Iraq and appeasing terrorists. This is about impeaching GW. This is about -as Clinton and the Democrats have been doing lately- rewriting history and pointing fingers to Bush as the one who is to blame for 9-11.
Democrats worship at the throne of the UN. In fact, I read recently that the UN Rights of the Child was making a reappearance in a Democrat's campaign platform.
Put another way, Democrats believe the age of sexual consent should be lowered (and so should the age of voting). In CA, girls below the age of consent can have abortions now without parental notification and/or consent.
CA Democrats made that possible.
But an age of consent male being contacted by an alleged predator? EEEUU, they claim.
I just took a gander at a few of my favorite websites. They accuse the Republicans of folding, while they, the authors themselves are folding and don't see it.
The more this is written about, IMHO, the more it bleeds. There are far more important issues going on, than this obvious Democrat Political stunt.
The phrase "I'm taking something from you for the Common Good" keeps reappearing in my backbrain. There's money been collected, facts, psuedo-facts, allegations, and held back for just such a time.
Guess what I'm saying is: What if Dems created another political scandal and nobody cared? Dems specialty is creating a stink and making sure it resonates. It's what they've been doing for 30+ years. The scandal doesn't have to be true, it doesn't have to be held up on substantial evidence, it doesn't even have to be real.
But it becomes an "event" as people lose focus on what's important, and pay attention to the girl-game tactics of the Democrats. This is grammar school tactics.
