You said: What in the hell will his lawyer say? Hastert made him do it? This lawyer needs to just STFU and wait for the charges.

Foley is a pervert, and I am glad he is gone, but what charges? He didn't touch any of these pages, as far as I have heard, and the age of consent in enlightened Washington DC is 16. What would he be charged with doing? I have asked this on several threads and on the Spencer Hughes show (Hughes acted as though I supported what this guy did, the idiot.) What crime could Foley be charged with? I assume he violated House rules (at least I hope there are rules against this), but if you can have consensual sex with a 16 year old in DC, surely you can IM about it. I would support criminal legislation in this regard, but I doubt you could get enough Dems to pass it.

There are laws, one of which Foley apparently helped author or pass, that criminalize using the internet to "entice" minors into sexual situations. My understanding (I haven't reviewed the statute) is that such situations include "internet sex" and sexually graphic or solicitous conduct. There also is an IM where Foley apparently invites two underage guys to his house for a drinking (and whatever) session.

"Hughes acted as though I supported what this guy did, the idiot"

That seems to be the Lib/Dem line EVERYWHERE...

If you point out the absolute HYPOCRASY of these Dem allegations, you're somehow a "Foley Supporter"...

Fortunately, most people are smart enough to know the difference..

We HAVE seen all this before....

If you called Spencer on today's show, I heard your call. I was not at all satisfied with Spencer's response, which is often the case with him.

How that guy ever made it to being a host of a national radio show is beyond me. He flies off the handle way too easily sometimes and shouts down anyone who disagrees with him on something he feels strongly about.

I 100% agree with him on many issues, but mostly I find him to be a whiny, wimpy, wuss. It's fun to listen to him sometimes, but I rarely last the whole three hours.
