I notice he says that he's going to reveal it when it's going to be most damaging to that person's reelection effort, so it must be right before that person's election. Elsewhere he suggests that it's coming soon, so I'm guessing it must be a Senator who is up for reelection this November. That eliminates several more senators from the list.

No, internet access is VERY hard to get in rehab. The whole idea is to isolate you, and get you to focus on your problem. Even phone calls are strictly regulated.
Did you notice that all of those IM's were in a fixed-width font, and all modern PDA's use proportional fonts? And the th's in the dates were spelled out with regular letters rather than being in superscript?

And why did we have to wait for John Ashcroft to casually announce it on BOR to find out? Ping me please if you find any discussion on FR about it.

Did you post to me? Anyway, I went to your home page (good pics, btw) and couldn't find anything specific on the teacher issue. Since you disagreed with my contention, I thought you held the opposite view. Can't you just tell me in a sentence or two what you think? Just whether or not you think the hot for teacher crowd constitutes a majority or even close to a majority of people in this country and at this site.

That describes an experience I had when I was 17, and working at an after-school office job. A manager there, in his 50's, was very friendly to me, invited me to hang out at his place for dinner and drinks. We would hang out and talk. It took a few weeks for me to figure out where he was going with this, and I stopped having any non-business contact with him
P.S. Upthread, someone posted an OT that some reliable source had received info that "something huge" (and series?) was happening with the grand jury re the NSA leaks. Maybe this and Ashcroft's disclosures are somehow related?
On reflection, none of those on that list are up for reelectionthis November , so by revealing it soon he must mean 08. Sheesh, nevermind!
