How many of you have messages from 2003?? This reminds me of Reynolds(?) pulling some letter out of the Senate Vault that he wrote to Cheney YEARS before.
I'm guessing someone saved these back then, thinking they may be of value in the future. They've held these back, waiting for the opportunity to use them at the right moment.

That was Rockefeller who had a handwritten CYA letter to Cheney stashed in his safe expressing his concern about one of the intelligence programs....terrorist surveillance, I think.
I have messages from earlier than that. Bet I'm not the only one.
