New Foley Instant Messages; Had Internet Sex While Awaiting House Vote October 03, 2006 1:22 PM

Brian Ross and Maddy Sauer Report:

Former Congressman Mark Foley (R-FL) interrupted a vote on the floor of the House in 2003 to engage in Internet sex with a high school student who had served as a congressional page, according to new Internet instant messages provided to ABC News by former pages.

ABC News now has obtained 52 separate instant message exchanges, which former pages say were sent by Foley, using the screen name Maf54, to two different boys under the age of 18.

This message was dated April 2003, at approximately 7 p.m., according to the message time stamp.

the image of the file holding the emails that gets backed up is not the issue - the provider mirrors what is sent to some other folder that is immune for user initiated deletes. that's what google is doing. you delete the mail, but it doesn't matter, they have it mirrored someplace else. you choose to not save a copy of your sent mail, it doesn't matter, they mirror it someplace else.

I stand humbly corrected.

But this is even all the MORE horrible.

And while this was happenning, what did Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill know and when did he know it and what did he do about it????????????

Why were there no calls for Tip O'Neill's resignation??????

.

He should be in jail or forced to undergo treatment because he is a grown man talking sexually to young boys outside of a health education class.

This is different from "free speech" this guy is perverting kids of the same gender ... that's just foul.

It now appears the page was 18. But, I do understand your point. Ah, I remember San Francisco, back a few years, the "educational gay lobby" brought in (they didn't notify the parents) gays to talk about anal fisting, vaginal dams, stuff like that -- to fifth graders. It was quite a huge story in the Bay Area. Punishment to these "educators"? Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Ever read some of the books being pushed by liberals in California schools? Perhaps, Foley read them and was merely reading aloud via IM to a Page.

These books are approved by California Democrats.

I thought he sounded -- I don't know -- canned.

Thanks for telling me.

To be honest, if the page is 18, 17, or 16 and he is a male - with Foley being a 40 to 50 something year-old male, I personally think it is gross.

I have been told by some on this post that age of consent may be 16 or whatever. I just think the whole homosexual thing between a highschool student and a 50 year-old man is gross - especially when the man is essentially his boss - illegal or not.

Frankly, I had this problem with Clinton - I did not think he broke the law but I felt he besmirched the office of the Presidency so significantly that if he were an honourable man he would have stepped down.

I'm not too fond of the homosexual thing period, frankly and in this world today, I'm preparing to get skewered for saying that on a bulletin board ... even if it is FR.

Who cares?

All of us should.

I agree; but who cares?

Well, saying you arent' fond of the homosexual thing, is not a problem. In fact, by a (massive) large majority, most American men live their lives in ways that reflect they don't think much of the "homosexual thing" either.

I find teachers who abuse their positions to seduce and molest children in their care to be FAR WORSE than the stupid IMS between Jordan and Foley.

And I find even more disgusting the "abortion industry" which has just shot down a law which would have gone a long ways to protecting young girls from predatory older males.

Older females seducing younger females? I've seen it far more than I care to revisit. Parents see their daughters' change; and are helpless to do anything about it and because "rape" (legally) still involves a penis.

Democrats pass laws which propose to hate to pray; but they themselves, the Democrats, love to prey.

ABC News has pulled this story!

Did ABC's Brian Ross screw up and hype the dirty IM story?

I wonder ABC News will apologize to Rep. Foley, and the GOP?

Did ABC News violate privacy rights of a young Gay man?

How did they get the IM transcripts?

The FBI will find out!

A Gay Democrat hack attack???

Jordan Edmond, now 21 was an adult when he IM'd Rep. Foley in ABC's "Breaking News" story of Sunday and Monday?

Consenting adults caught in lewd and lurid chat?

If 18 and consenting, will this Capital Hill staffer be in trouble?
